The Annual Christmas Lunch 2021 is on – and you are all hereby invited!

The Annual Christmas Lunch is by tradition set for the second Friday of December this year, the 10th – and nothing scary about that except the amount of joy you can have in one afternoon. There will be surprises – and who knows there may be presents if you have been good. You, the membership and friends of the association are for sure in good company and together we will get the festive spirit going – including the snaps and beer of course.

COVID-19 Guidance

Accessing the venue/event relating to Covid-19

We are continually monitoring government and health guidelines to protect our team and our guests. Along with the venue provider, we want to provide a safe environment. All guests must comply with government recommendations with regards to self-isolation and if you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms, we kindly ask you to stay at home. 

  • Capacity of our event will be limited due to COVID restrictions.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available at the public entrances and toilet facilities
  • We kindly request attendees to complete a rapid lateral flow test on the day of their event, and two days after. Please report if anyone has tested positive through the test and trace contact.

12.30 Christmas lunch, including

  • A scrumptious lunch with many offerings, including popular Christmas dishes from Denmark, including the barbaric Viking favourites of pickled herring, rye bread and Ris à l’amande. (Vegetarian options are available too – but do let us know in advance if you have special dietary requirements)
  • A large bottle of Snaps per table of 10
  • 3 beers per person or half a bottle of wine (more can be acquired on a cash bar basis)

15.45 End of Lunch – well it is a lunch and this is getting close to dinner time – but do read on if you fancy continuing. 

15.50      After lunch drinks anyone? We have reserved an area at Ekte Nordic Kitchen for those of you who wish to continue the festitivies. We may just see you all there once we have packed up all the gear.

The Eve Appeal is the preferred charity of the Danish-UK Association.

The Eve Appeal has always had a strong link with the Danish-UK Association. The charity was born out of a collaboration with between Peter Vagn-Jensen and Professor Ian Jacobs, two men who have both been deeply affected by gynaecological cancers in their lives.  Peter’s wife Lone, was the first Managing Director of the Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce.

This is a great audience to be in front of – with around 200 attendees of management and influencers from some impressive global brand companies and leaders in each their industry.

You get the branding – we the association get to use your strong support making it an enjoyable afternoon for the membership and friends.It is a joint effort that makes it great.
