The traditional Danish Fair (formerly Bazar) and ‘raffle’ have been a significant contribution to church since 1954.

Many visitors on the day, makes it a bustling meeting point for all Danes, English friends, neighbours and relatives, where all corners of the church and gardens are in use, and with more than 100 volunteers helping out.

The time leading up to is used to prepare and set up a multitude of stalls with Danish design, antiques, books, needlecraft and knitting, Danish pastries, candy and flowers.

There is also a large selection of food and bars, such as our famous hotdog stand and ‘smørrebrød’ restaurant (now with a selection of vegetarian dishes). This year, we have made extra effort of the children’s area, with a fishpond, tombola and ´flødebold´-catapult and other activities are found.

The day will be opened with a joint song and an opening speech by ambassador HE Ambassador Rene Dinesen and his wife Camilla. During the day local school choirs will perform on the South terraces.

Raffle tickets are now on sale.

Generous prizes, which include a stay in a luxury cottage in Scotland, gift cards for delicious dinners,
