Decarbonising the Industrial Value Chain
Green growth in a Net Zero UK economy - opportunities in relation to the UK’s Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy, at a challenging time

We are pleased to announce yet another high-level stakeholder event for the DK/UK/Nordic business community.
The UK’s Net Zero – and Industrial Decarbonisation strategies present challenging parameters for success in a competitive environment, but also unique opportunities to effectively futureproof businesses throughout the industrial value chain.
The Danish/Nordic/UK business community posses and are able to share experience, knowhow and solutions with their operations and partners, which can be applied to make the most of these opportunities for growth and prosperity in the UK market.
Key to succeeding in a net zero green growth economy is to review the playing field, engage in new cross sectoral formations, rethink strategic partnerships and seek synergies in unusual constellations.
From producers to consumers, the recognition and utilization of mutually dependent interlinkage will determine the scope and force of commitment, investments and ultimately action.

Superb event organised by the DKUK team and partners, kindly hosted by Gowling WLG who provided excellent facilities. Great content and delivery from a wide mix of speakers and industry backgrounds. The delivery and organisation of the day was second to none. Stand out sessions from LEGO, AWS, and Rockwool, very insightful and thought provoking, prompting delegate discussions across various topics at appropriate levels. Kudos to all involved.
Ashley Carter, Aarsleff Ground Engineering Ltd
What a great wealth of interesting people and I thought the format actually worked really well – just enough time to get conversation going but not risk it tailing off. I think a sign of a good event is where nothing feels like it is dragging, and by mixing and matching formal presentations with the workshops, I think this is good. Food & drink were nice too and venue was quite easy to network. Well done.
Jason Bermont Penn, octopus investments
This was a fantastic event from the DKUK team, pitched at the perfect level to foster strategic discussions on how bsinesses can (and must) work with customers, Government and the public to accelerate our path to decarbonisation and Net Zero. The workshops with Nordea/Octopus Investments, ROCKWOOL, AWS and LEGO were particularly interesting and interactive, enabling facilitators and delegates to share thoughts, challenges and experiences. Well done to the DKUK team for organising such an interesting day.
