Speaker: Adam Rowledge

Rowledge Associates is a consultancy and training business which supports companies to put their people first to achieve business success and to enrich the lives of team members through positive impacts in the workplace.

Prior to founding Rowledge Associates Adam was General Manager of Georgian House, a 60-bedroom boutique hotel in London. Under his leadership, the Grade II-listed property completed a £1 million refurbishment and continuously invests significantly into improving the development opportunities for its team and guest experience.

During his tenure Georgian House won a number of prestigious industry awards, including Visit England Rose 2018 Award for ‘Recognition of Service Excellence’, Best Management Strategy at the Springboard Awards for Excellence 2018, and has been featured in the top 30 Best Places to Work in Hospitality each year since the awards launched in 2014 including 11th in 2019. The hotel has also earned an exclusive Lean Accreditation from Lean Competency System (LCS). Since Adam’s appointment, Georgian House also gained and held five-star status from both VisitBritain and the AA.

Named Independent Hotelier of the Year by the Independent Hotel Show Awards in 2018, Adam has also been awarded British Travel & Hospitality Hall of Fame Young Manager of the Year in 2017 and an Acorn Award in 2012.

Adam is dedicated to improving the employee experience, in particular the development and wellbeing of teams. This focus saw Georgian House achieve ‘Commitment’ level of the London Healthy Workplace Charter and establish a collaborative culture, where the team are given autonomy to work on their own projects.

In addition to his role at Rowledge Associates, Adam is a St. Julian Scholar, Guardian Member of Hospitality Action and Ambassador for Room to Reward. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality as well as Vice Chair of its Supervisory Board.
