The Euros earlier this year captured the hearts of our nation, showing just how much women’s football has grown in recent years. The narrative and attitudes of women in sport and business at every level is shifting and we are seeing the exciting possibilities available in careers that were traditionally male dominated.

  • In the continuous pursuit of greater gender equality, how do we maintain the momentum?
  • What can businesses learn from the Lioness’ recent success about teamwork and resilience?
  • Which skills and attributes are transferable between sport and business and how do we utilise these for the betterment of our professions?

Freeths and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to tune in via livestream, to hear from Lioness Rachel Daly about the Euros 22 and her inspiring journey so far. She will then join a panel discussion alongside Karen Hirst, Managing Director at Maple Grove Developments Ltd and Philippa Dempster, Senior Partner at Freeths.

Laura Tracey at Freeths will host the panel and raise these key questions, asking about their different career journeys so far, their views on the exciting possibilities for women, and what more needs to be done to tackle the challenges that remain.
