The Council of Young Professionals of the Danish-UK Association are excited to be hosting a panel of distinguished speakers representing international Private Equity firms who will join us at the Gowling WLG London offices and share their insight and expert advice.

The conference aims to connect like-minded individuals who want to gain valuable insight into Private Equity, and explore the current trends and the changing nature of the industry.

There will be two panels, which will discuss the current trends and how markets differ and bring insight into the changing nature of the industry, with a further focus on the recruitment of talent. The discussions will dive deeper into the current issues PE firms face and which strategies they are undertaking to mitigate and adapt to these rapid changes.

During the panel discussions, there will be time for a Q&A, and following this, there will be an opportunity for speakers and attendees to network along with drinks and canapés.

DKUK are excited to welcome members to this exclusive event, hosted by Gowling WLG.

Private Equity in the Current Macroeconomic Environment:

With rising interest rates and a volatile Pound Sterling, there is continuous pressure on the equity market with challenges revolving around fundraising, reduced evaluations and difficulties around executing IPOs as an exit strategy.

With all these hurdles to clear, we will hear the panel’s thoughts on the long-term future of Private Equity and especially around AI and ESG as drivers of progress in the industry.

Also, outside of the UK where political tension is very much at the forefront and is creating supply chain challenges across industries.
