DKUK with the Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish & Icelandic Chambers of Commerce and in partnership with IOM3 are hosting a joint webinar based around the topic of “Advances in model-based control for the process industry”. The discussion will focus on net zero/decarbonisation, process efficiencies (cross sector, but we are looking particularly at Steel, Polymer, Light Metals and the foundation industries)

13:00 Welcome and introductions David Arthur, IOM3 chair

13:05 Dr Peter Singstad of the Norwegian firm and NBCC member Cybernetica AS will open the webinar by giving a tutorial on the topic. Cybernetica offers model predictive control solutions to the process industry world-wide. The tutorial will include examples from the polymer industry, light metals and steel.

13:20 Fireside chat with panel (to include guests from Outokumpu in Sheffield and VTT in Helsinki) then open the floor up to debate from the audience.
