Conny Kalcher is standing down from the Danish-UK Association Board with effect from 1st July this year.

She has done so in order to concentrate all her energy on her new role as Chief Customer Officer with Zürich Insurance Company Limited, based in Zürich Switzerland.

She joins Zurich from DKUK member MindFolio, an innovation and analytics consultancy based in London and Chicago, where she was Partner from 2018. Conny also brings with her a wealth of leadership experience and expertise gained at the LEGO Group since 1985, where she held many senior global roles between 1999 and 2018. Most recently she had global responsibility for the development of the LEGO Brand and served as Vice President for Marketing and Consumer Experiences.

Conny has held her role as non-executive board member with DKUK since its inception in 2018, and prior to that was a member of the Board of the Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce since 2015. We are immensely proud and fortunate to have had a person of such ability and standing as Conny on the boards over these years. She has been an immense help in guiding the secretariat during the merger, and was very supportive during last year’s Royal Gala and Dinner, where she was instrumental in the great success of the event. The Chairmen of the Danish-UK Chamber and the Danish-UK Association also both greatly appreciated the support and guidance she gave them.

She will be truly missed, but we can only be impressed the challenges she faces in her new role  and commend Zürich Insurance Company on securing one of the best. We wish her every good fortune for the future and thank her for her enormous contribution to our organisation.
