DKUK Newsletter October 2018

Dear Members and Friends,

The weather may be getting a little cooler, but don’t worry - we still have an exciting programme coming up this autumn and winter!

We are delighted to announce that Mark Luscombe, at SEB has written this month’s editorial, from SEB with highlights on the UK and Brexit, dual citizenship amongst others - and it is definitely worth a reading!

Since our last newsletter, we have had one of our busiest months: we hosted seven events, and we would like to give a big thanks to all the companies and chambers who have helped us organise, host and sponsor these great events - we couldn’t have made it on our own! We would also like to thank all of our loyal members who have participated in these events and made them interesting, time and again.

Besides this, we have already started to receive a wide variety of exciting offers from various companies who have already made several great member-to-member offers, and we hope, that several other member companies will do the same, thus making this concept will be even more successful in the future. Check below for the simple steps to login as a member - then start benefiting.

We are now actively taking bookings for both the Grand Gala Dinner & Ball on the 6th December at the Dorchester Hotel where Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark will be our Guest of Honour, and our Annual Christmas Lunch 2018 taking place at The Banking Hall on the 14th December. Please see full details on our website, where you can also book tickets – we hope to see you there!

Kind regards,

DKUK team (Emma, Deanne, Mads & Gunnar)

Editorial by Mark Luscombe, Country Head at SEB Bank - UK

"May you live in interesting times!" - This is, apparently, an old proverb, and indeed we do, both from a professional and a personal perspective. On a personal level, I never thought my nationality would be something I should concern myself with in what appeared to be an increasingly globalized world. It does however somehow feel like the world has become a bit less globalized as of recent months.
