Founded by Danish-English husband and wife team Kell + Jacqueline Skött. SNAPS + RYE is a contemporary Danish restaurant serving ‘proper’ Nordic cuisine focusing on produce and provenance.
SNAPS + RYE serves food using carefully sourced ingredients + authentic Scandinavian flavours.
Opened in 2014, SNAPS + RYE is the result of countless happy hours spent in the buzzing cafes and restaurants of Kell’s native Denmark and desperately wishing that they could transport one to the UK. When the opportunity to open a restaurant on Golborne Road presented itself they jumped at the chance of recreating a little of Copenhagen’s culinary culture in this wonderfully diverse pocket of London.
Last year, SNAPS + RYE’s weekly changing evening menus garnered a lot of wonderful press, with Time Out voting them #2 in their Top 10 Newcomers and #20 in their Top 100 Restaurants in London – an accolade they are quite rightly very proud of!
SNAPS + RYE are open for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evneings and for breakfast, brunch and lunch Tuesday to Sunday.
